This class blends meditative practice for the cultivation of mental clarity with sensory delights and deep healing from the purest clear crystal quartz singing bowls in the world. Each Sound Bath consists of a guided meditation, crystal bowl sound therapy, and the deeply soothing sounds of human voice in harmony with the singing bowls. This is not an asana practice, and is appropriate for all ages and physical abilities. Space is limited.

Each day of this program begins with a two-hour athletic training and recovery class incorporating The Roll Model® therapy ball self-massage followed by an innovative Yoga Tune Up® functional movement session for your lower body – from hips to heels.

Discover new ways to care for your body as you explore:

  • Experiential anatomy practices and self-care strategies for your lower back and hips.
  • Ways to improve strength, mobility, and breath for more body awareness in sport and yoga.
  • Innovative warm-ups and cool-downs to improve performance and reduce pain

For movement educators, this program offers new ways to incorporate functional movement mechanics into your classroom to enhance your teaching. For movement enthusiasts, this program will enrich your personal practice with new strategies to help keep your body in tune. This course qualifies for Yoga Alliance continuing education credit.

Between the playful stretch of partner yoga, the deep healing of Reiki and other energy modalities, and the informed movement of physical therapy lies Thai Yoga Therapy, also known as assisted yoga. Thai Yoga Therapy sessions are personalized to each client’s needs and designed to support the body’s own healing systems by increasing circulation, clearing energetic blockages, promoting myofascial release, and regulating the breath. New clients should plan to spend an hour at the initial session to complete a health questionnaire and discuss needs and goals. Other services such as nutritional consulting and guided meditation are offered upon request.

Margaret’s training and experience includes Thai yoga therapy, Reiki, Lomi Lomi (traditional Native Hawaiian healing modality), traditional Native American traditional healing practices (Navajo and Pomo), guided meditation, nutrition, physical therapy, and trauma-informed yoga.
