You may purchase our New Student Special (3 classes for $25) online with PayPal, or at the studio prior to your first class with cash or check only (we do not take credit or debit cards at the studio). No preregistration is needed for any ongoing weekly class. Drop-ins are welcome!
Dress in comfortable, workout style clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are helpful for temperature changes during and after class. Plan to take your shoes off when you arrive. All classes are done barefoot and shoes are not allowed on the studio floor.
We recommend you bring your own mat if you have one. If not, we have mats and all other props available for your use at no extra charge. You may bring a water bottle provided it has a secure closure to avoid spilling. Please, no open containers or hot or ice cold beverages. Bring cash or a check (no credit or debit cards) if you plan to purchase a pass or pay a drop-in fee at the time of class.
Try to be at the studio 10-15 minutes before the start of class to fill out a waiver form and get acquainted with the studio and the teacher. Remove your shoes upon entering the studio. Place personal belongings and turned-OFF cell phone in cubbies provided. Be sure to notify the teacher of any injuries or medical conditions.
If you are new to yoga, do not feel you have to do everything. Practice mindfully, paying attention not only to what your teacher is instructing, but what your body is telling you. Avoid looking at others in class for guidance. Yoga is an internal practice and the focus is not on how you look, but how you feel. Be patient and don’t expect to do or understand everything right away. Practicing regularly and frequently will help you accomplish your goals. If you feel you need more guidance, inquire with your instructor about taking a private lesson.
