Four Sundays/Five Classes Beginning August 12
Due to an outpouring of support and concern for Betsy since she was struck by a car in June, we are offering five benefit classes with all proceeds going to Betsy.
EASY SUNDAY YOGA with Lisa Swanson: August 12, 11:30 to 12:30 pm.
Basics of yoga to energize and calm the nervous system, align the bones, strengthen the core. Students will be given a syllabus to take home for their Sunday practice. Suggested minimum donation: $20
RESTORATIVE YOGA with Nicole Cavales: August 12, 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
A passive form of yoga with longer-held supported poses that allow the body and mind to release and rest fully for deep relaxation and rejuvenation. A regularly scheduled class, all proceeds will go to Betsy; additional donations are welcome.
BALLS, BREATH, & BALANCE with Dawn Adams: August 19, 10:00 to 11:30 am. Find your footing, improve your alignment, and play with balance! Using the Roll Model® therapy balls to improve our sense of position in space (proprioception), we will experiment with various traditional and Yoga Tune Up® variations of classic poses to build awareness, increase mobility, and create a strong foundation. Suggested minimum donation: $20
YOGA, SOUND & CHANTING with Dina Hondrogen: August 26, 10:00 to Noon. More details to come.
SUNDAY LONG PRACTICE with Ada Lusardi: September 9, 9:00 am to noon. Enjoy a sweet respite from the busyness of daily life with a luxurious practice in a peaceful and supportive environment. We will gradually open to a more active practice concluding with breath work and deep relaxation. Minimum one year of practice recommended. Please dress in layers and bring an eye bag if you have your own. Class size limited to 10. Suggested minimum donation: $50. (Due to popular demand, we are taking reservations for this one event. THE INTERSECTION OF THERAPEUTIC YOGA & PERSISTENT PAIN

How does therapeutic yoga help with chronic and persistent pain? Hint: It's not a set of poses or a specific protocol. This workshop will include interactive discussion and practice to begin to unravel how the therapeutic aspects of yoga can be utilized to change our internal chemistry and ultimately shift our experience of pain.
All levels welcome!
PERSONALIZED QIGONG & QIGONG HEALING SESSIONS

Personalized Qigong are private, individually-tailored Qigong movement classes. Qigong Healing Sessions are gentle hands-on treatments designed to balance and rejuvenate your body and spirit. $30 for 30 minutes / $60 for one hour.
